Common questions
Do I lose the app if I stop paying?
Not on a one-time licence. Updates stop after twelve months; the version you own keeps working. Subscription apps stop at the end of the billing month.
Windows or Mac?
Both, for almost everything. Forge and Snippet Shed also run on Linux. The licence covers two machines, so a laptop and a desktop is fine.
Do you do mobile apps?
The desktop app is always the main event — that is where the work gets done. Where it helps, we build an iPhone and Android companion for the bits that happen away from a desk: quoting on site, run sheets, photos, timesheets. Ask us and we will quote for it.
Where is my data kept?
On your computer, in a folder you choose. You can back it up, move it, or open it with something else.
Can I get an invoice for my accountant?
Yes — an invoice is emailed at purchase, and you can re-download it any time.
Do you do refunds?
Thirty days, no interrogation. The trial should mean you never need it.
